3D Watch

In my second year i was given the brief to make a “photo-realistic” object to be used as a centre peice in an advertisement. Being a watch enthusiast i chose to design a watch based on the a Brietling Blackbird.

The watch was made and rendered using 3DS max and textured using Adobe Photoshop CS3, using a wide range of techniques from both programmes such as bump mapping (lining of the box) lofting (bracelet links) and the rather memory intensive Boolean subtraction.
